A quick, easy system to record accidents in the workplace

This accident book has been revised to comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 which states that personal details entered in an accident book must be kept confidential. The book has been designed so that individual record sheets can be removed and stored securely in a ring binder, enabling personal information to be kept confidential.

The legal requirements for reporting accidents, diseases and dangerous incidents at work are laid down in the Social Security Regulations 1979, the Social Security Administration Act 1992, the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995. A broad outline of these regulations is included at the front of this accident book for general guidance.
