Tips For Trouble Free Milling
- Use dry sea salt crystals only. Rock salt will wear away the mechanism, as it's too harsh.
- Sea salt flakes are not recommended as this type of salt will set within the mechanism and will cause the grinder to fail. Do not use any salt of a 'moist' consistency or texture i.e. French Sal de mer.
- Keep mills and salt & pepper in a dry atmosphere.
- Wipe over with a soft dry cloth. Do not put in the dishwasher.
- Avoid direct contact with steam when grinding.
- Only use pepper in your pepper mill. Do not use for salt, Fagara, pink peppercorns or any other spice.
