Food Allergen Law
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in conjunction with DEFRA are introducing new allergen legislation which came into effect in December, 2014. Restaurants and other food outlets will be required by law to provide all of the details about possible allergens continued within the menu items. The details must be clearly marked in a clearly visible place so that employees of the establishment can provide the correct information to customers.
