HG Quick Descaler 500ml

Scale can build easily in equipment such as kettles, coffee machines, and washing machines. The HG Quick Descaler is extremely effective at removing scale and limescale, improving water quality and machine functionality. This product is particularly useful for businesses that operate in hard water areas, as limescale is likely to build up more quickly.

Directions for Use:

(Coffee Machines)

1. Dilute 50ml of the descaler with half a litre of water and pour it carefully into the resevoir of the coffee machine. 
2. Use the machine how you would usually to make coffee.
3. Pour the descaler solution down the drain. If the machine doesn't percolate properly, repeat that treatment with a new mixture of coffee descaler. 
4. Finally, clean the machine 3 times with clean water to ensure no limescale or unwanted taste remains.

(Kettles)

1. Dilute 50ml of the descaler with half a litre of water and pour it carefully into the kettle.
2. Do not switch the kettle on. Leave the liquid to work cold for approximately 40 minutes.
3. Pour the descaler solution down the drain. If the scale hasn't dissappeared completely, repeat the treatment.
4. Finally, rinse the kettle thoroughly after the treatment. 

(Washing Machines)

1. Add the descaler to the appliance detergent tray. Use 100ml in soft water areas, and 200ml in hard water areas.
2. Run the shortest program with a temperature of 60°C.
3. Switch the machine off halfway through the program and wait 20 minutes to ensure the descaler works properly. 
4. After 20 minutes, leave the machine to finish the program.
