Thermamite ® Thermometers with Food Penetration Probes are perfectly suited to meet modern food hygiene legislation thanks to their accuracy, versatility, ease of use and superb reliability. 

These thermometers measure from -50°C to 300°C with an accuracy of +/-1°C and show the temperature reading on a 12mm LCD display. The permanently attached, pointed and stainless steel penetration probe is attached to the device by a 500mm PVC lead. 

These thermometers are cased in ABS plastic. The ABS plastic casing is strong, durable and extremely hygienic thanks to Biomaster additives. Biomaster additives are powerful silver based biocides which reduce hygiene risks. The concentration of silver in Biomaster releases ions which inhibit microbial growth. 

Thermamite ® Thermometers are powered by 3x1.5 volt AAA batteries which have an expected life of 5 years or 10,000 hours. An automatic power off function preserves power and turns the device off after 10 unused minutes.
