These Empilable Duralex tumblers feature an indented base, specially designed to stack into each other without sticking, saving valuable space. Manufactured with shock resistant thermal glass, this tumbler is freezer, microwave and dishwasher safe.

During the manufacturing process, the glass is heated to around 700ºC before it is suddenly cooled by cold air ventilation. 

The process not only gives the finished product a perfect transparency and lasting clarity, it makes it practically unbreakable as well.  Duralex glassware is at least 2.5 times more shock and chip resistant than ordinary glassware, making it perfect for everyday use.  The tempering process also improves the glassware's thermal properties.  Duralex products can withstand thermal shock of 130oC, while ordinary glass breaks from thermal shock at about 40oC.
