These non-stick glazed pieces are ideal for professional use and their versatility means they work just as well for contemporary serves and settings as they do for more traditional milieus. Whether it's a hotel breakfast or a hipster cafe, Bauscher's 'Smart' is the smart choice.
Salt is a patterned variation of the original Smart pieces. It features an abstract but subtle white 'salt-ring-shaking' over a grey body.
Pieces are made from exceptionally strong porcelain that is fired at 1,400°c and protected with a chip, scratch and mark-resistant glaze. Smart also offers optimum heat retention due to the vitrification, high firing process and density of the porcelain. This also means pieces are safe for use in the microwave, oven freezer and dishwasher.
A low porosity ensures easy cleaning, as well as a more hygenic serve because the hard porous porcelain build prevents bacteria from hiding away in surface holes.
